My Story

Orphan Story 

My name is Youssef and I am 8 years old. I was born in Al Mahwit, Yemen, and currently live in Sanaa. My father died when I was only 5 years old. I have 4 brothers and they are all younger than me. Since I am the eldest, I help my mother with the housework and do my best to bring income into the house by selling vegetables with our neighbor. I am currently in second grade and I love playing soccer with my younger brothers. I want to own my own grocery store one day and become a merchant so I can support my mother so she doesn't have to work.

اسمي يوسف  وعمري 8 سنوات. ولدت في المحويت  في اليمن  وأعيش حاليا في صنعاء . توفي والدي عندما كان عمري 5 سنوات فقط. لدي 4 إخوة وكلهم أصغر مني. وبما اني الأكبر سنًا، أساعد أمي في أعمال المنزل وأبذل قصارى جهدي لجلب الدخل إلى المنزل عن طريق بيع الخضروات مع جارنا . أنا حاليًا في الصف الثاني  وأحب لعب كرة القدم مع إخوتي الصغار. أريد أن أملك متجر او بقالة  خاصًا بي يومًا ما وأن أصبح تاجر  حتى أتمكن من دعم والدتي حتى لا تضطر الى العمل.
